As it is nearly ten months now since David and I spent a week at Ramada Eco Beach Resort, Broome, we have had time to reflect on our stay.
We were invited to a Godson’s wedding which was to take place in July on a crocodile farm two-and-a-half hours west of Katherine, NT. This invitation was the catalyst for a two-month trip, starting in the north east of Victoria, making our way to Lawn Hill National Park in Queensland via many interesting places along the way. We began our camping when we reached Adel’s Grove in this National Park and spent most nights in our tent from there until we reached Eco Beach.
By this stage we were looking forward to a few comforts that camping doesn’t offer! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and given iced tea and a cool cloth prior to our check in. We then found our way to our Garden Villa which was home for a week. Our villa was very well appointed, comfortable and secluded. There happens to be an excellent restaurant on site, the temptation of which was too much to refuse.
This picture was taken recently when we travelled to Wyndham Resort & Spa Dunsborough (WA) for my son’s 2nd birthday in December 2015 and captured this amazing sculpture of big rocks at the Canal Rocks with spectacular skies and green hills.
It reminds me of old times war histories where they were shooting film for tv shows such as Robin Hood.
We had never been to WA before and we would highly recommend it to all WorldMark Owners! Such a beautiful region of Australia and you truly relax while enjoying the many sites (and wineries lol) in the Margaret River region.
Busselton Jetty, Margaret River, Western Australia
We have been Owners since September 2011. Over the last two years, we have enjoyed our stays at Port Douglas, San Francisco and Seven Mile Beach– home away from home, with friendly staff, great food and wonderful sightseeing.
Afternoon tea at Kings Park with an 84 year old friend
Before leaving Fremantle on a cruise round the north of Australia in June, we found the Wyndham Outram Perth the perfect place to stay to catch up with old friends from our time in Perth over thirty years ago.
We flew in on Sunday night, I lost my wallet at the airport then recovered it an hour later after a taxi driver handed it in.
On the way to the Outram, we shared in a dinner following a first communion, then were dropped at the hotel into which we quickly settled, finding the facilities even better than we had been led to believe from the description provided. Continue reading →
What a start to a perfect holiday at Wyndham Dunsborough(WA)—a mid-air flight proposal en-route Melbourne to Perth.
We started our long-planned holiday with the family of 4 (self, wife Tina, son Steven, & daughter Sarah) along with my mum (nanna) Jane, boyfriend Fabian & girlfriend Rania. This was a holiday to Perth and then a drive down to Wyndham Dunsborough, in the Margaret River country. We had heard from another Wyndham Owner that this was a great place to go to and stay. Our family have been Owners now for about 5 years, and have thoroughly enjoyed our Ownership in all aspects—–the resorts are great, well planned out, close to shops, attractions, activities, etc; the staff are most welcoming and helpful—always; the benefits of Ownership takes us to various spots not only around Australia, but even overseas. We have had the pleasure of staying at Los Angeles, Cairns, Tasmania, Sydney, Ballarat, Port Macquarie, and now Dunsborough. Continue reading →
