After an afternoon spent wandering the quaint old village of Richmond with its convict past and now home to delightful shops, and fortified with a delicious hot chocolate, we arrived at the resort for a three-night stay. Our plan was to explore some of the sights of southern Tasmania. We received a warm welcome and settled in to our comfortable, cosy room. The setting amid the native bushland is lovely and we saw birds and wallabies around. Congratulations to the company for preserving this precious area.
I have been a Wyndham Owner for 15 years and it has given me a unique privilege to share my holidays with family and friends.
So here we are in Tassie! I invited my friends from Germany and Panama, Mauricio, Lilia and their baby Elias and Helena to the ‘Apple Isle’. We stayed at the luxurious Wyndham Seven Mile Beach. On entering the 3 bedroom apartment, my friends were so overwhelmed with the palatial size and beautiful interior. Exploring beautiful Hobart and beyond filled every day with wonder and excitement!
I recently stayed at Wyndham Seven Mile Beach in Hobart. The rooms were very nice, the food was great and so was the customer service in the restaurant and resort. It’s close to the airport and just a short walk across the road and you have a beautiful beach!
This story is a little different to others I have read in Destinations magazine. They generally started with a flight or a weekend road trip. This one starts with a plan to spend 7 weeks camping the East Coast of Australia with 2 kids, travelling from Townsville (Far North QLD) to Melbourne (VIC) then taking in Tassie for good measure.
We decided to break the trip up along the way by staying at a few of our Wyndham resorts to recharge & take a break from the everyday fun of setting up & packing up camp. In hindsight, that was a fabulous decision!

WOW! We have just returned from our first Club Tour with Travel Club by Wyndham – Tastes of Tasmania – and can happily declare it to have been a most enjoyable adventure experience. WorldMark Owners from various states of Australia and from New Zealand with friends gathered in Launceston where we met up with our tour escort, Ruan Myers, and our very experienced coach driver David, to commence seven full days together experiencing the beautiful scenery and delightful tastes of Tasmania.

In December, I travelled to Wyndham Seven Mile Beach in Hobart (TAS) with a friend. The resort was very impressive with the ocean over the road.
My reason for going to Tasmania was to visit the lavender farm at Nabowla (the Bridestowe Lavender Estate), east of Launceston. After our arrival, we reassessed our itinerary, realising that Nabowla was a 7 hour round trip, and only one driver (might rethink that idea).
I’m Larna, and along with my husband Andy, we are both Wyndham employees as well as new WorldMark Owners. I’ve been an employee at Wyndham for 7 years, but my first taste of visiting a Wyndham Resort as an Owner was at the beautiful Wyndham Seven Mile Beach, Tasmania.
The staff at the resort were bubbly and helpful, and our lovely room (1-Bedroom Deluxe) had all the comforts we expected and more. To make use of the space available to us, we made sure we purchased lots of Tasmanian produce (ok, mainly cheese, chocolate and wine!) to make use of our kitchen and sunny courtyard.
Wineglass Bay – Happy and healthy again (Kelly and Ted)
The three of us get to Tullarmarine Airport with plenty of time to spare – all good so far. Join the endless check-in queue and master the machine that disgorges our boarding passes. Join the next queue (which is as long as a bad movie) and check in our luggage. Still time to spare so we have a cuppa and a snack. Continue reading →
