2017 was a tough year for me with both my parents passing away. So two of my friends decided that what I needed was a girl’s weekend away.
I chose Hobart since I’d been wanting to visit MONA for a while plus it was an opportunity to stay at Ramada Resort Seven Mile Beach. We decided on a 3 bedroom apartment so we each had our own room. It was perfect for catching up and the resort was in peaceful surroundings.
We flew in on Friday morning, picked up a hire car from the airport and drove to Richmond an historic town about one hour drive from Hobart. We visited the old church and wandered around the antique shops. We had afternoon tea served in silver teapot.
Saturday morning was spent at the famous Salamanca Markets. We brought souvenirs. We had lunch at Maldini Italian restaurant. Then wandered back to the wharf where we went on a horse and carriage ride around the streets of Hobart. We visited Battery Point which is the old part of Hobart where you can find some of the original houses from the 1800s still standing.
On Sunday we took the ferry to MONA. You can spend most of the day there as there is much too see. The views from the museum are fantastic. We had lunch in the cafe but its worth going to the restaurant if you can just for the views.
Monday morning there was time to sleep in and more time to chat before checking out. In 3 days we had seen a lot but there were more places we could have visited such as Mount Wellington.
I have been a Wyndham Owner for 15 years and it has given me a unique privilege to share my holidays with family and friends.
So here we are in Tassie! I invited my friends from Germany and Panama, Mauricio, Lilia and their baby Elias and Helena to the ‘Apple Isle’. We stayed at the luxurious Wyndham Seven Mile Beach. On entering the 3 bedroom apartment, my friends were so overwhelmed with the palatial size and beautiful interior. Exploring beautiful Hobart and beyond filled every day with wonder and excitement!
I recently stayed at Wyndham Seven Mile Beach in Hobart. The rooms were very nice, the food was great and so was the customer service in the restaurant and resort. It’s close to the airport and just a short walk across the road and you have a beautiful beach!
I’m Larna, and along with my husband Andy, we are both Wyndham employees as well as new WorldMark Owners. I’ve been an employee at Wyndham for 7 years, but my first taste of visiting a Wyndham Resort as an Owner was at the beautiful Wyndham Seven Mile Beach, Tasmania.
The staff at the resort were bubbly and helpful, and our lovely room (1-Bedroom Deluxe) had all the comforts we expected and more. To make use of the space available to us, we made sure we purchased lots of Tasmanian produce (ok, mainly cheese, chocolate and wine!) to make use of our kitchen and sunny courtyard.
My husband and I have been WorldMark Owners since 2001 and have enjoyed many adventures whilst staying in various locations.
In early December 2014, my husband, Paul, and I took my mother, Fay, on a trip to Tasmania for her 80th birthday. We stayed at Wyndham Seven Mile Beach resort, ideally located near Hobart. The resort’s staff were more than helpful, and extremely friendly. They accommodated our every request, offering excellent inside information on what we should see whilst staying. The 2-Bedroom Deluxe accommodation was superb, with plenty of room to spread out and where we were able to comfortably enjoy the resort’s surroundings after our outings each day. Continue reading →
In June this year, friends and l went to the Seven Mile Beach Resortin Tasmania. It was a girls’ week away from the boys.
We found that the resort was great and we had a 3- Bedroom Presidential. It was wonderful, with a big fireplace to keep our whole apartment nice and warm. The place was lovely, with the spa included in the apartment, although we also loved being outside the apartment. Continue reading →
We recently spent a 2 nights at Seven Mile Beach, (5th & 6th November) during a trip to Tasmania, and we were very impressed with the service we received, the resort unit, and the surrounds, and also with the resident birds and wildlife which also seem to enjoy their surroundings, the resort is also very family friendly.
