My husband and I have been WorldMark Owners since 2001 and have enjoyed many adventures whilst staying in various locations.

In early December 2014, my husband, Paul, and I took my mother, Fay, on a trip to Tasmania for her 80th birthday. We stayed at Wyndham Seven Mile Beach resort, ideally located near Hobart. The resort’s staff were more than helpful, and extremely friendly. They accommodated our every request, offering excellent inside information on what we should see whilst staying. The 2-Bedroom Deluxe accommodation was superb, with plenty of room to spread out and where we were able to comfortably enjoy the resort’s surroundings after our outings each day. Continue reading

Seeing Snow at Seven Mile Beach, TAS

Frosty the snowman at Wyndham Seven Mile Beach?loc=wmsp

Frosty the Snowman at Wyndham Seven Mile Beach

A family holiday to Tasmania staying at Wyndham Seven Mile Beach.

Our goal going in June last year was to have our children (4 and 18 months) see snow.

We achieved this, but even better was the frost on our car on the last 2 days of our stay. Frosty the Snowman was built from the frost on our car.

Thanks to the staff we got a family photo with Frosty and many lifetime memories.

WorldMarkSP Owner since 2005

Wineglass Bay – Happy and healthy again (Kelly and Ted)

The three of us get to Tullarmarine Airport with plenty of time to spare – all good so far. Join the endless check-in queue and master the machine that disgorges our boarding passes. Join the next queue (which is as long as a bad movie) and check in our luggage. Still time to spare so we have a cuppa and a snack. Forever Tassie Rules in Our Memory!

On top of Mount Wellington, Hobart, Tasmania

We landed at the Hobart airport on New Year day 1st Jan 13 and we were all expecting a very relaxing, rejuvenating and reviving holiday down in Tasmania.

It was going to be a holiday spent at some amazing landmarks and the homely resort with plentiful of amenities. However, it was an unexpected gift in the first week of January 2013, which will really make the visit to Hobart a vivid memory of ours to cherish for a long time.

Who knew that the pleasing staff and holiday residents of Hobart’s Seven Mile Beach Wyndham resort would be all ears to our adventurous journey on the way to Port Arthur? Continue reading

Owner Pic of the Week: Snow in Tassie!

WorldMark South Pacific: Seven Mile Beach, snow in TasmaniaThis photo was taken on a walk up Mt Wellington in Hobart on our recent holiday there.

We wanted to return to Tasmania and give the children, Sam & Katie, an experience in the snow, as we left Tasmania 5 years ago and the kids were only 3 and had not really experienced snow before.

The resort at Seven Mile Beach was a perfect base for exploring Hobart and the surrounds.

Seven Mile Beach: A girls’ week away

Outside 3 Bedroom Presidential at Wyndham Seven Mile BeachIn June this year, friends and l went to the  Seven Mile Beach Resort in Tasmania. It was a girls’ week away from the boys.

We found that the resort was great and we had a 3- Bedroom Presidential. It was wonderful, with a big fireplace to keep our whole apartment nice and warm. The place was lovely, with the spa included in the apartment, although we also loved being outside the apartment. Continue reading

A beautiful spot

Joan enjoying a walk in the water

We recently spent a 2 nights at Seven Mile Beach, (5th & 6th November) during a trip to Tasmania, and we were very impressed with the service we received, the resort unit, and the surrounds, and also with the resident birds and wildlife which also seem to enjoy their surroundings, the resort is also very family friendly. Put it on your bucket list!

We recently enjoyed a holiday in Tasmania and stayed at Seven Mile Beach with our friends Mark & Robyne. We thoroughly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t already stayed at the resort.

Our 2 bedroom deluxe apartment was spacious and well appointed.  The resort itself was well designed to ensure privacy and an appreciation of garden surroundings as well as being conveniently located to Hobart and nearby attractions. Continue reading

Christmas to New Year

Our first use of our Credits was to buy a week at Seven Mile Beach from Christmas to New Year last year.  I have four grownup sons, and they and their partners all came to celebrate Christmas with us – we live in Tasmania.  Then my brother from Adelaide rang and asked to come for Christmas with his three children as well.  So I decided to invite my Mum, who lives in Christchurch, New Zealand to spend Christmas, and she would be able to enjoy being with most of her children, grandchildren and great grandchild at the same time.
