“Our Decade of Exceptional Experiences”

One of my favourite authors Ernest Hemingway once said to never go on trips with anyone you do not love. So all of my trips to Wyndham’s Resorts around the world over the past twelve years as a proud owner have involved my wife who has supported me to fully enjoy these exciting experiences and memorable journeys.

Wyndham Resort Denarau Island has been our dedicated destination since day one of our Ownership. Although we have stayed at other fantastic and panoramic resorts with Wyndham, we loved every moment of our week-long, exciting and peaceful trips to Fiji which has been the most extraordinary and exhilarating experiences of our travel life. On every visit to Wyndham Resort Denarau Island our warm welcome by the friendly and well-trained staff made us love the pleasant ambiance, the entire serene atmosphere and the calm surroundings so much that we forgot our home during the period of our stay there and felt like we were in heaven that existed in the cool and comfortable Pacific Ocean.

Our life and living reached the pinnacle of ecstasy when we were asked to participate in a variety of well-organised functions by people who had the comfort and enjoyment of their valued guests at heart. Every activity was always full of excitement, enthusiasm and laughter. Of course, whenever there were shared opportunities to enjoy melodious music, well-displayed local dance and historical drama depicting the Pacific culture by the greatest swimming pool of the Southern Hemisphere we found ourselves in excellent company of fine fellows and fabulous artists. Loved every moment.

Our most enjoyable periods were when we placed ourselves on the well-crafted furniture and rested with no hangovers whatsoever along the beachfront both during the bright sunny days and the gorgeous nights sipping our Fiji Bitter Gold and the best Australian wines from the pool and the beach bars. The people who managed and serviced these bars added additional attraction through their characteristic charm and sincere customer service.

Then every time we dived into the immense swimming pool and let the adjoining spa meticulously massage our bodies we felt we were in a real paradise with god-sent people to give us the tender loving care. Whenever we looked up at the beautiful blue sky we felt that we were blessed and loved by the Angels that enabled us to keep enjoying everything that was at our disposal. No other place like Denarau Island for the fullest enjoyment of the guests from anywhere in the world.

We loved the vigorous and vast vegetation that the skilled gardeners helped to grow and maintain at the resort. The greenery, the multi-coloured foliage and the fine, fresh as well as featured and feathery flowers added real beauty and charm to the guests walking on the paths and pavements to and from the rooms to the reception or various other attractions of the resort.

Over the decade of our association with the caring people at Wyndham Resort Denarau Island we admired the services and care of the staff at the reception, the house-keeping sector, the handicraft stalls and the hard-working and well-informed sales team that keep providing the most up-to-date information about the entire chain of resorts to their Owners. The variety and style of food served at the restaurants have given us a great chance to taste local as well as international menus and culinary art of the special people. The best of these experiences was accorded to us during our most recent stay towards the end of August 2017.

My wife Ganga and I have only admiration for everything that was dished out so willingly and honestly to us over the years and we just want to say Vinaka Vaka Levu and Thank You for giving us the care, service and comfort beyond our expectations. We totally agree with John Steinbeck that many a trip continues long after movement in time and space have ceased.
