“Living the dream and creating precious memories”

Our Wyndham journey started in March 2012 during a trip to the Gold Coast with our son and fiancé, where we attended a sales presentation with “Jill” at Wyndham Surfers Paradise and it was there we became Owners.

Our excitement at becoming Owners was the first step into a world of exciting holidays and discovery year after year. By 2015 we achieved our desired owner level and became Diamond Owners.

From the moment we became Owners we knew we could live our dreams and started planning a 4 week vacation tripping through the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the USA Pacific Coast for our 30th Wedding Anniversary, which was on 4/10/16. What was once just a “dream trip of a lifetime” became a reality with the wonderful help of “Leanne Dimes” at Travel by Wyndham.  We mapped our ideal itinerary of where we wanted to go, stay, see and do and in no time Leanne put together everything from flights, travel insurance and  The Rocky Mountaineer using our Credits and Personal Choice.

We extended our vacation by utilising a 241 voucher, cruising the Pacific Coast of the USA for 14 nights onboard the “Star Princess”, enjoying side trips while docked in Vancouver, San Francisco, Long Beach California, Santa Barbara, Catalina and Los Angeles.  All we had to do was pack our cases and live the dream! Wow, wow, wow!!

What an amazing holiday we had and feeling very special on-board The Rocky Mountaineer being spoilt with gourmet chef meals and very attentive staff all while exploring the famous Canadian Rockies from Calgary to Vancouver enjoying stays in Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Kamloops and Vancouver to name a few. Included in our Rocky Mountaineer package was side excursions such as a helicopter ride over the snowcapped mountains, Banff gondola, Athabaska Ice Explorer, to name a few and there was also enough free time to explore each destination at our leisure, hence we wasted no opportunity to do so!

The Canadian wildlife was amazing and we were fortunate to encounter Elk, Moose, Snow Squirrels, Deer, Mountain Goats, Bald Head Eagles and Bears, totally amazing! We were made to feel very special with numerous beautiful anniversary gestures  throughout our Anniversary vacation.  For our actual 30th Wedding Anniversary we had a very memorable stay at the Chateau Lake Louise. We were elated with an unexpected complimentary upgrade to a “private gold suite” together with chocolates, champagne and a special anniversary breakfast! Our suite provided us with breathtaking views of Lake Louise and the snow-capped mountains. The Canadian scenery and wildlife were breathtaking and we were spoilt by the Canadian hospitality during every step of our travels.

Since becoming owners in 2012 we have travelled throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Fiji and Asia enjoying couples time away and also either gifted or holidayed together with our sons, daughters in law, grandchildren and friends creating a lifetime of memories for generations to come.

We find ourselves now always looking at every opportunity to get away to a Wyndham Resort near or far, fly or by car! Grab It’s are a favourite of ours and we always look at these first to maximise our Ownership Credits and travels. We are now quite addicted to vacations, so much so that we book another before completing the one we are on. Life is too short to not live enjoy and share every opportunity with family and friends.

“Holidays to Us” = Living the dream and creating precious memories, loving & laughing with our nearest & dearest! 💕
