On the afternoon of November 5, 2016 Ramada Golden Beach (Sunshine Coast, Queensland) hosted the wedding of Anthony Quin and Kerry L’Estrange.
Anthony and Kerry met on online dating site eHarmony four years ago and joined the Wyndham Discovery program whilst holidaying on the Gold Coast in 2014.
Guests were long-time friends of the groom, Brenden and Melissa Chambers from the Gold Coast (who were witnesses to the marriage), Frank Kusetic from Muswellbrook (who is not only a long-time friend of the groom but also went to school with the bride) and Kris Excell of Valella Photography in Brisbane (who is a long-time friend of the bride and took all of the magical photographs on the big day).
Kerry wore a gorgeous long, flowing, purple chiffon dress with front overlay, flutter sleeves and satin ties and carried a bouquet of purple roses, purple and white frangipanis with baby’s breath and purple ribbon. She complemented the look with purple and white frangipanis in her hair.
Anthony was dressed in dark grey tailored trousers and a light grey shirt with purple rose buttonhole to match the bride’s bouquet.
To begin the morning of the wedding, makeup and hair was designed by Valentina Pintus Makeup and Hair Artist. Valentina went about creating wonderful hairstyles and makeup for both Kerry and friend of the bride and groom, Melissa Chambers.
Guests all gathered at 3.55pm on the balcony of room 909 at the resort, along with the celebrant Kym Allen, to await the arrival of Kerry and Anthony from the floor below.
At 4pm Anthony and Kerry entered the room and made their way to the balcony to the sound of Ed Sheeran’s hit song ‘Photograph’ and were pleasantly surprised by the addition of white daisies and lillies, along with purple statice and candles cleverly placed in glasses by Melissa Chambers.
Civil Celebrant, Kym Allen delivered a lovely short and simple ceremony during which Melissa Chambers read the poem ‘Forever Friends’. The bride and groom then signed the Certificate of Marriage, witnessed by Brenden and Melissa Chambers.
After the ceremony, the wedding party made their way downstairs where Anthony surprised his new wife, Kerry with their taxi for the night. Awaiting their arrival in the driveway of the resort was Gary Nalder of “SuperStretch300 Limousines” who whisked the party away to King’s Beach Surf Club for photographs and dinner.
The bride and groom enjoyed two weeks of honeymooning on the Sunshine Coast.
