“A Unique Place That Most Tourists Miss”

Hi Wyndham travellers,

Recently my husband and I went to Ramada Port Douglas (QLD) for a quick break.  We travelled to Mossman Gorge for the day – it is only a 20 minute drive from Port Douglas.

When I was growing up in this part of the region it was our play ground. This wonderful place is located in the southern part of the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park.

Mossman Gorge is the Ngadiku Dreamtime Walks. Ngadiku (Nar-di-gul) means stories and legends from a long time ago in local Kuku Yalanji language. Traditional owners operate their own country.

It’s one of those unique places which most tourists miss, so I hope that posting our story will inspire a new adventure for you.

We are happy Wyndham Travellers!
