Accompanied by another couple our holiday started in Seattle. Here we ascended The Space Needle, Rode the Ducks and explored the tunnels as well as touring Boeing and the Flight Museum always returning to the Camlin to enjoy relaxing in the spa and service on call. What else could you ask for?
From there we ferried to Victoria, once again enjoying excellent facilities close to everything. Advice from Natalie at Wyndham suggested we take a day trip out in the country which led us to Sooke and the best coffee shop in Canada. Not Starbucks.
Vancouver was the next stop and there we flew in the float plane, went on the Gondola to Grouse Mountain and saw our first grizzly. It was always good to come back to the unit and have a relaxing evening playing cards and going through the day’s photos. Hiring a car we then headed off for Canmore. Driving into there on sundown was awesome. From there we took day trips to Lake Louise and Jasper. Both of these days were incredible. It is hard to believe that you could see so many mountains that are all different. It was also exciting seeing the wildlife. Bears, moose, elk. You name it we saw it. Whistler was every bit as exciting. The Blackcomb Peak to Peak made you feel like you were on top of the World. After Whistler it was back to Vancouver to prepare for our departure.
Wyndham organised our holiday (Thanks Sophie F) and it was perfect. Advice before leaving was spot on and each unit had its own character. Being able to cater for your needs and everything at your fingertips took the worry out of the trip and left us to just enjoy ourselves, which we did.
Knowing you could go back to your unit and just do your own thing (from preparing meals, soaking in the bath or swimming in the pool) took the pressure off everyone and I could not speak more highly of the staff and the surroundings. We are now busily planning our next trip which we hope will include time in Hawaii once again thanks to WorldMark.
