Travelling by rental car

I am writing to say how much we enjoyed our stay in several properties throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

Originally we had planned, through Kerry Stranger, a great trip using wherever possible Wyndham properties, travelling by rental car all the way from Golden Beach to Adelaide. We planned to cross the Nullabor by Gold Class Rail to Perth then onto Dunsborough for a week then back to Perth and flying back to Brisbane.

This all had to be scrapped as five days after being in Australia I ended up in hospital for eight days…

After a few days I felt I could continue some of our tour, we called into Wyndham Bundall, on the Gold Coast, and saw Kerry to plan a shorter trip as far as Pokolbin Hill. What a lovely, accommodating, helpful girl she is. We soon had bookings all the way down and back – apart from Kirra Beach, which was fully booked.

Off we set. Our first stop being Treetops at Coffs Harbour, next Port Macquarie, very busy here so we got a night at Flynns Beach Port Macquarie, next came Horizons at Port Stephens and then onto Pokolbin Hill.

I cannot give enough praise for all properties we have stayed in; this also includes Fiji where we spent ten days last year. All properties were five star plus, and we should know as we have owned and operated a resort in Paihia for eight years before retiring. We could not fault cleanliness, people needs or comfort and décor. Everything was just perfect and we are proud to be among the many Owners.
