One of our most memorable vacations was to Fiji in 2009.

The staff was fantastic and very helpful in suggesting places to visit to make the most of our stay.  There were many interesting activities happening at the resort, so we could choose to do as much or as little as we wanted. We loved dining at the restaurant and looked forward to the lighting of the lanterns around the pool and the group of villagers who came to serenade us at the end of the day.

We were at the resort for Mothers Day and my husband thought he would cook me a nice breakfast.  This was a lovely thought but did not impress the other guests who were woken when the fire alarm went off at 6.30am to the smell of extremely well cooked toast!

Denarau Island is a tropical paradise and anyone wanting to get away from the stress of everyday life will not be disappointed.  We are planning to go back again soon to experience more “Fiji time”.
